New technology can be implemented to assist those with less than perfect eyesight, reduced hand/eye coordination, and limited mobility. With solutions that can be custom designed to the individual, utilizing your strengths.
With smart control, you are offered multiple devices that control the same system. This allows keypads to be mounted at different heights on the wall. This allows access from standing height, wheelchair height, and floor height. Buttons can be programmed for your needs. This includes, one button press to light a pathway through your home, whole house lights off, whole house audio/video off, etc.
Add a wireless touchscreen for more advanced control from anywhere throughout your home (functions listed below). Move this touchscreen to a table, desk, floor, outside, or anywhere throughout the home. Use disc changers to access your cd or dvd library without having to search and load your media.

Custom control devices are currently being developed for color coded jelly bean switch buttons. The concept is, pick the color yellow, press the button and lights toggle on/off. 1st press of the green button and the television turns on. 2nd, 3rd, 4th button press and changes channel for 3 favorite stations. 5th press and the television turns off. This concept can be applied to window treatments, lights, or any part of the system.
