Phone Systems

Create a phone system just right for you and your family. Each room has different essential requirements with additional "desired" options.

A minimum of 1 CAT5E cable is run for each phone to a centralized location. This is called "home-runs," since they do not stop for additional phone locations along the way. This technique reduces the possibility of interference and crosstalk from other phone lines. This also allows for future capabilities like changing from a phone connection to a network connection. See picture (right) of phone, net, and cable tv distribution modules.

This may include cordless phones (900 mhz, 2.4ghz, 5.8ghz), desk phones, wall mounted phones, two line phones, caller-id, voicemail or Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) like Vonage. Vonage requires a high speed Internet connection and VOIP network router.

Each phone manufacturer has its own set of benefits and options. Let us research the reviews of the latest products to find the best phone system for you.
