The Control4® Wireless Thermostat makes it simple to add automated temperature control to any home. Featuring bi-directional communication and seamless integration with the Control4 home automation system, the Wireless Thermostat adds an impressive array of climate control functions that are accessible from any room in the home.
Control4 product communicate via Zigbee mesh networking. Each Zigbee device sends/receives from another, creating a spider-web of communication links. Multiple Zigbee devices are necessary to relay communications from one end of the home, to another.
This Zigbee protocol (802.15.4) is a separate wireless network from your 2.4ghz Wi-Fi Internet network.
Thermostat(s) can be set (manually or automatically) to adjust to appropriate levels of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) throughout the home. Control the temperature from anywhere in the house with a Control4 Touch Screen, System Remote Control, or on-screen graphical user interface.
